Tests, homework, teachers, friends, and sports- it’s hard to keep up with it all sometimes! In high school, especially Viera High, the goal is to try and keep it all under control, which sometimes isn’t the easiest. Stress starts to play a big part in teens especially the second semester.
“Something about school that stresses me out is turning everything in on time,” junior Cathryn Kaiser explains. Many people find different ways to deal with their stress. For senior Kyle Hintz, his way of dealing with his stress is by using baseball as an outlet. Sophomore Kiana East uses softball. Regardless of what it is, there is always a way to find something to do to get your mind off it for some time.
Since it’s second semester, the work is getting harder, the days feel like they’re getting longer, and the tests are coming soon. Certain classes are kicking our butts. With proper planning and the right time management the stress will ease and the year will become much easier!
