Proving his worthiness as the chosen one, Emmett, an ordinary builder, shocks the entire LEGO civilization. Meeting all different people, including a bad cop, Batman, Superman, and President Business, the all-too normal guy is up for the quest to stop the evil LEGO from gluing the universe together. The LEGO Movie was the missing piece to theaters and finally came out on February 7th, 2014. This movie spiked the interests of all age groups due to its interesting humor and catchy songs. As Emmett would say, “EVERYTHING-about this movie-IS AWESOME!”

Casting in the action-packed film, are many celebrities that would never have been thought of as a part of this movie. Stars like, Will Ferrell as President Business, Morgan Freeman as Vitruvius, Alison Brie as Unikitty, Liam Neeson as Bad Cop, Channing Tatum as Superman, Will Arnett as Batman, Elizabeth Banks as Wyldstyle, Nick Offerman as Metalbeard, and Chris Pratt as Emmett. This cast of celebrities captured the interest for all of the parents who brought their children to see the movie.

Earning its rating, the movie scored 8.4 out of 10. As junior at Viera High School, Allison Summers, aforementioned, “This movie is mostly directed at younger kids and teenagers, because of the humor associated with it and the fact that both age groups played or still play with LEGO’s.” Another junior at Viera High, Tara Haner, commented about the A-list celebrities in the film, “The stars must have made the movie much better because if they are willing to take on a roll in The LEGO Movie, then it must be worthwhile.”

Given the ultimatum to see or not to see the almighty LEGO Movie, most students like juniors Christina Perry and Jonathon Cassario, replied happily that they would most definitely see this movie. Viewers globally agreed that the film literally looks like a LEGO set came to life on screen. LEGO Land is shown through every angle given by pop songs, interactive and lively characters, and an adventure-packed story line that will leave you asking several questions and begging for the answers.

Dodging “The Kragle” from the evil President Business, performing the same ritual led itinerary for work, singing the same pop songs every day, and attempting to fulfill the prophecy of the MasterBuilder is all a part of the twist-ending cinema about an ordinary LEGO builder named Emmett. It’s up to you to decide if everything is really awesome in LEGO Land, so find out now!
